Sending Offensive Weapons to Ukraine: Will it change the war?

Patriot Missiles Systems

It is clear that Trump has no more patience with Vladmir Putin. I am generally more skeptical of America than I used to be in the past. I was one of those Americans who wanted to give Russia and Putin a fair chance, however, I have always been an American first but I wanted us not to waste our money on wars that we do not need to spending our time on. However, I am not idealist like those many citizens in the 1910s who believed in Woodrow Wilson's War to End All Wars. It is clear that man is too greedy or too ambitious to have peace with nations of the globe.

Russia and Ukraine's war with each other has been going on for three years and it looks like there is no end in sight.

Russia has concerns for sure on the issue of Ukraine. The country is filled to the brim with radicals and mercenaries. The government is unwavering and uses any tactic to attack Russians.

The Russian government has been dragging its feet for years. It seems that many in the elite still want to return to the time when they could go to Europe and just relax in their mansions and have expensive cars. This is an exaggeration, but the Russian elite have no interest in helping the working class in their country.

The sending of Patriot Missiles is an important move by Trump who sought to distance himself from Biden's policies of playing escalation with the Russians.

According to the President, the Patriots are being sent to Germany ready for transfer to Ukraine.

Right now, Drones are what is causing this war to be somewhat of stalemate. However, Ukraine may be able to use the Patriots better than they used to in the past. Probably that will allow them to make it tougher for Russian to use their huge air force to attack Ukranian installations.

Considering the damage that was caused by Operation Spiderweb in Early June 2025, the Ukranians do seem to be out of this war.

Trump is probably trying to put some pressure on Moscow so that they are more serious in the negotiations.
