Iran Lost the 12 Day War and Israel has triumphed in the Middle East
The 12 Day War was quite a roller coast ride of emotions and missiles and bombs flying across two countries that have generally hated each other.
President Trump has brough peace through strength. It is not cliche; think about under Biden how Hamas managed to launch October 7th attacks, and the administration was dithering while wasting its time on spending money on EVs and other useless projects. Trump is a much greater president than he ever was. Just because someone seems nicer does not make them competent or better ruler.
Iran's willingness for strategic patience cost them dearly in this war. Israel shows itself to be a creature of action not patience. In this world, action gives the greatest bounty not sitting for the hits.
Iran is seen as the darling of the BRICS nations; a coalition of highly idealistic people who only seem to come together for meetings that go nowhere. Isreal has shown once again: Actions speak louder than words. Too many nations in this age are content with hiding behind their headlines. This is why BRICS will go nowhere. They still pay in American dollars and only talk the talk. Where is the walk here to allow for the multipolarity that they speak about so much? It is only theoretical and requires the elites in those BRICS countries to have something more interesting to bring to the table than being a member of United Nations. As we can clearly see with this war, Isreal is a country outside the purview of the United Nations. The United States increasingly uses the UN as a cover in order to hide its own ambitions in front of the whole globe.
BRICS, while idealistic and based on the very realistic idea of multipolarity is still a concept rather a reality. An issue with the modern age is the presence of international organizations which really are just places for people to get high salaries.
The Iranian theocracy is on quicksand now. While there is no doubt in my mind, they have supporters and are somewhat competent, their regime is isolated in a region that is majority Sunni. While to Christian Americans, these differences may not make much sense or even make a difference to them. However, to Muslims, these differences mean a lot to them. Shiites are even seen by many Muslims to be heretics. Iran chose the Shiite course and has steadily been going away from country in tune with the rest of the Middle East and becoming a rouge nation in many ways. Iran does not have many allies in the region here.
The Iranian people represent a country that has a much longer history than of the United States. However, Iran has gone through more iterations of their country than America has. America, excluding the Civil War period, has been governed by a single constitution with amendments. In my opinion, America needs a lot more as our country is often too chaotic and stuck in ancient idealism of a time of powdered wigs and quills, but we still have a country with a powerful if not somewhat uneven economy.
Iran is in its latest iteration was born out of revolution to create a theocracy. The Shah of Iran, who had been ruling the country since 1941 had misjudged the rural area's clamor for Islamic Restoration. The urban areas had been moving towards a The Islamic Republic of Iran is a regional power, but it is hemmed in by Sunni states that dislike Shiites and prefer to be more pragmatic with Israel rather trying to damage their own reputations after the 1960s Six Day War and Yon Kippur War. The 1973 Yon Kippur War saw Israel grow to its largest extent, occupying the Sinai in Egypt and presenting itself as a dominant military power in the Middle East as the Arab powers were struggling to match its power in both land, air and naval power. To this day, Israel is still able to surpass these nations.
President Trump stated on Monday Evening that Iran and Israel are going to cease firing missiles and dropping bombs on each other. While there have been some violations, it is clear that the Iranians are the losers here. Iran is more capable than the Houthis but that isn't much. Their missiles have not done enough damage on Isreal and that is only part of the problem for Iran now.
Iran: The weakness in internal security
The Iranian regime or state if you want to be charitable is internally weak and unable to resist the moles. Mossad has one of the best capabilities on the planet and Iran is simply outmatched here.
Iran is obviously putting out people in the streets who are celebrating 'victory'. There was no victory here for Iran. They may have put some missiles into Israel but so did Saddam in 1991 in the Gulf War. Iran can put on a show, and they do have supporters for the theocracy across the country, but they are not as powerful as he was.
Iran's regime is over forty years old at this point and there are many supporters of the previous regime, the constitutional monarchy of the Shah.
One of the reasons why Israel was so successful with their initial operation was because of the taking out of many top generals and scientists. Iran may talk about the ''resurrection'' of generals in the victory rallies, but it is clear that the government is just relying on virtual victories to obscure that the government did not manage to stop Israel from flying over their airspace at will and without incident.
This is the same issue that Russia, supposedly Iran's ally is suffering through right now. Ukraine does not possess the same power to do such damage to Russia but there is issue where Russia is still underestimating structural issues in the face of Ukranian media attacks.
Iran's structural issues are even worse when you consider how the state apparatuses were attacked by the Israeli Air Force in the opening day with efficiency. Nuclear scientists were taken out as well as the chief of staff of the Iranian Armies and Islamic Revolutionary Guard in airstrikes.
Israel's dominance of Iranian skies.
Isreal has an air force which is unbeatable in many ways. Iranian soldiers are at the mercy of Isreal's air force. Are they really able to take out Israeli planes. During this 12 Day war, they were constantly saying that they shot down F-35s or other planes. We can safely say that they were not telling the truth about any of these claims. The newsmongers of our age, who love talking about Trump, seem to forget about checking the claims of the Iranians.
Iran may put out narratives about continuing its nuclear program, but Isreal will just put more jets into the sky and Isreal has experience now with going in there and bombing the facilities. Iran, if it wants to survive in the struggle with Isreal needs to remember the axiom: Action speaks louder than words. Media is important in this age; there is also a need to move away from focusing on making narratives for the purpose of obscuring problems. The obsession with domestic consumption of propaganda is hurting Iran and eventually it will cause the regime to continue its stagnation.
Iran's government is led by an ancient man, who may have strength to speak but does he really have the strength to lead his nation to something more than relying on the Iran-Iraq War to keep propping up the nation. Iran needs to answer this question of moving towards a new age and revive the economy instead of trying to play media games.
Isreal won the war and there is no question
Isreal is not invincible, but it is nation of competent people. This is a country that has been surrounded by hostile powers and is not going to give up due to media narratives.
