Why I support Winsome Sears: The Cost of Living


There is a general sense that one gets now that the Republicans are for cutting taxes. In this day and age, raising taxes simply makes no sense. The private sector has truly begun to surpass the public sector and it is time we start focusing on that part of the economy more.

Economic statistics based on government spending are not as important. We should be focusing on building a strong private sector so we do not need a massive government that gets fingers in every sector of the economy. 

The picture above was taken in Manassas Park. It is one of those new, overly expensive communities that is supposedly about ''community'. Such places are out of reach for most people. What we need to do is to stop putting taxes on everything.

The days of increasing taxes are done in America. The private sector can provide many things that the public sector cannot. Most importantly is innovation. This is not just in America. Throughout history, government has rarely been innovating outside the domains of war. 

What we need is a slimming of government. That is what the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has been trying to achieve. 

We need to remove the car tax also. While some communities may complain that they need it, I think with the rise of car repair costs and car insurance, it is becoming an unnecessary burden on people. 

Just to show the change in the costs, here's how it affected me personally. In 2022, my car insurance with Nationwide was around 60 dollars. By the time I moved to Geico, my insurance had risen to almost 120 dollars. I switched to Geico because I was able to cut that to about 87 dollars. While that is still too expensive, it is clear that the rising of living has to be addressed not just in housing but in a more hollistic manner that does scare businesses while also burdening taxpayers. 

Winsome Sears is simply bringing a low tax approach to the state. If we could be just like Florida, our state would not be just beholden to the Northern Virginia area and all parts would start prospering in their own ways. 

Winsome Sears needs to be the governor of all Virginians not just Northern Virginia.

Luckin Coffee has begun opening stores in America and there is one aspect that should leave Starbucks quacking in their boots; it is the cost of the coffee. According to CNA , Luckin Coffees can go for as little as 99 cents. The Cost of a Starbucks Coffee starts at around 3 to 4 dollars. However, many of their more premium coffees can cost around $10 dollars. You have seen that person, the one that overly customizes their coffee like they were buying an expensive house. Starbucks is a status symbol in America, or it used to be in the 1980s and 1990s. Five Guys: Burger and Fries is a premium fast food burger restaurant that began in Arlington, Virginia in the 1990s. Northern Virginia is my home region, and I used to consider them to be one of the best burger restaurants that wasn't a mom and pop or an incredibly expensive hipster area. However, it is clear  that it is not healthy .  That is obvious. It is a great food if you are working a lot and burning calories right after eating but as a meal one could be a fan eating week after week, you need to be exercising caution. This is not a restaurant you should eating at weekly unless you cut down on the calories in your meals. The issue with Five Guys is simply that there is alot of grease with their meals.
