What Ukraine and Russia should agree to in the peace treaty that will bring peace to Europe

Image
Trump and Putin met in Anchorage, Alaska on August 15th, to find common ground on how to end this Russo-Ukraine War which erupted in early 2022. On August 18th, he met with Volodymyr Zelenskyy and other European leaders as a way to bring the parties together to find peace in Europe. Here is what I would say is the best solution to the conflict on the topic of territorial exchange. What territories should be exchanged in the peace treaty? 1. Russian troops need to leave Sumy Region This one is pretty obvious. The Russian troops began advancing into Sumy Region after removing the Ukrainians in Kursk region area. The offensive has been slow and there has been no real advances into any towns. The only places that have been taken are some small villages on the border with Ukraine here. This part of Ukraine is not going to join Russia and its not part of Putin's original plan when he began the war in earnest with his soldiers. 2. The Ukrainians need to leave Donbass Regardless of how t...

Trump has support of DC Police Union to federalize policing in the Capital

Washington DC has been a rather rowdy place for quite some time. While some critics may say that the crime isn't high as it once was but the city has a particularly troubling issue which doesn't get enough attention: Car Theft is soaring across the city Much of the growth in Car Theft is concentrated after the pandemic. There was some decline in 2024 but the levels are much more elevated than in the past. The inability to bring this under control has bene one of the reasons why car insurance costs have been growing quickly. In my own personal case, my car insurance went up from the mid 50s to over 110 dollars since 2022. My insurance company at the time, Nationwide was simply too expensive. I switched to GEICO and I have been enjoying that my costs will decrease in my next series of premiums I have to pay. However, car insurance costs are still rising across the country. Auto thefts are absolutely having an important role in influencing this huge increase in car insurance. Whi...

Armenia and Azerbajian make peace: Why Russia's soft power is weak and propaganda is not enough

The Russian news media as I have noticed has become a content mill. Many news sites have become content mills throughout many countries in this age. Even when its long form, it's mostly designed to prop up a political party rather to engage with the reader for any greater insight. The Russian news media under Putin has continued the same old tactics of the Soviet Union. It is all about puffing up Russia and then saying the West is weak and not strong. One of the main issues is that Putin has been able to continue the economic growth that was fueled by the oil boom in the 2000 to mid 2010s. The price of oil is directly tied to his success as a ruler. He was able to manage this growth and managed to get Russians to be proud in the country again. In the IT area, he also managed to continue Russia's unusual dominance in hacking and cyber warfare. However, it was still too tied to the oil prices. The United States has had many issues in the contemporary era. However, it still has a...

The Return of the Far-Right in Spain: The 2023 Elections in the Spanish Kingdom

Image
Results of the Spanish Election on July 23rd, 2023 The Return of the Far-Right in Spain In the Kingdom of Spain on Sunday, July 23rd, there were elections for the country's parliament. It looks like the right wing will be prevail over that of the Socialists. This is because the Prime Minister is incompetent and out of touch with the people of Spain. However, Prime Minister Sanchez still has many tricks up his sleeve. The leftists in Spain are relying on distorted views of the Spanish Civil War and broadly of Spanish history in order to get people to support PSOE and Sumra.  These sorts of tricks have allowed for the leftists to retain some strength, especially in regions such as Catalonia and with their sometime allies, the Basques in the North.  The situation that we have right now is that we have a hung parliament. This is a somewhat annoying result as it means that PSOE could still win, and Sanchez could hold to power again.  These parties are leftist parties th...

Russia has too many old men in its bureaucracy

TopWar.ru is one of the most popular sites on the Russian Internet which deals with geopolitics and the arms trade across the globe. While many of its members are Pro-Communist or Pro-Putin, they are not reliant on Channel 1 News in Russia to think about the conditions of the Russian Federation. Many of them severely criticize President Putin for being too cozy with oligarchs and warn about the crisis in Russian reputation in the Caucasus countries such as Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. It is an interesting place to read as an American as they have a political sense that is far beyond that of many Americans who unfortunately do not read or engage with politics beyond looking at it through the lenses of cinema or what they saw on television or on social media silos. One user made a clear point about the Russian government in the contemporary moment. He noticed the age of the diplomatic officers and linked it to why Russia was succeeding in taking territory in Ukraine but losing...

American GDP Growth was 3% in 2Q!

A m e r i c a ' s Economy Grew by 3.0% in 2nd Quarter. America is growing now that much of the issue with the tariffs has been factored into business leaders decisions on the economy. There are many people out there who do not wish for success, but our country is changing and its time to get on board instead of getting in the way of our country. They can write as many articles as they wish but our country is moving into the era of AI and they should accept that. We are building new institutions and not obessing about the past. We learn from the past's wisdom and its shortcomings but we do not allow it to take over the present at the expense of what comes next in our nation.

India is no longer buying Russian Black Gold: Is this the pressure America can bear on Russia?

I n d i a  According to reports in the economic news, India has begun not selling Russian oil in response to threats of tariffs.  India has been an ally of America but it pursues its own interests with a great amount of nationalism and pride in the nation's Hindu religion as well its IT sector. However, similar to the Chinese, they have taken advantage of our goodwill and enriching their country at the expense of our own. Of course, this is business in a sense, but India should realize they cannot sit on two chairs. America is going to be raising tariffs on India for buying Russia oil and I agree with that. India has bene coasting by taking advantage of America and they should be allowed to be friendly with BRICS and also play the friend to America. Pakistan is also not really a friend of America but looking out for their own interests and also taking advantage of our kindness. America was for many years the Tower of Babel . We are not that anymore. We need to look out ...
